Delete your account

You can delete your ShootSong account and its data at any time.

Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open the ShootSong app and go to Profile.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is closed immediately.

Delete without the app

Email ShootSong@gmail.com from any address with the subject "Delete my ShootSong account" and include the mobile number you signed up with (and your username if you remember it). We verify the request and delete the account within 7 days, then confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your profile, name, username, photo, date of birth year and gender.
• Your mobile number, recovery PIN and device sign-ins.
• The text of chat messages you sent, your favourites, blocks, notifications and push tokens.
• Videos and projects in the editor are stored only on your phone — delete the app to remove them.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment and order records (token purchases, shop orders, gift and call transactions) — kept for up to 8 years because tax and accounting law requires it.
• Reports and safety records about serious abuse — kept up to 1 year to protect other users.
• Creators: payout and KYC records as required by law.
• Unused wallet tokens are forfeited when the account is deleted.
